Child Labor in the 1930s

Hey there,

for those of you that were there when I came in to do my presentation you may remember the question Beau had about child labor laws. I have done some more research on the topic and I came across this wonderful website. Lewis Hine was a photographer in the early 1900s. He dedicated one entire series to working children. Check out the article and pictures. They are VERY informative!!!

First Stage Interview

Hey Cast and Crew and Friends-

As I have been continuing my research on the book, the author and past productions I came across this interview from First Stage Theater Company in Milwaukee. Two young girls play the main characters and I think it is interesting to read and see how they feel about the play and theater in general. Enjoy -and I will be posting more soon so keep your eyes peeled! :-)

Dresses, Dresses, Dresses

Amidst all wedding planning and joy, I have come to love and Adore Dresses! Although I love collecting them in my closet, I don't usually wear dresses except for sundays, but, getting fittings after fittings after fittings with my wedding dress - which will be completed tomorrow!--shopping for a temple dress, searching and ordering bridesmaid dresses, and looking for a getaway dress, I have come to know why girls need dresses.

They make you feel so feminine!

Anyway, with all this fun dress shopping, I've been thinking alot about 100 dresses, and i'm so psyched!! <3

plus, reading it, i realize how complex my little character is, and im having fun dissecting her. Here's wishing a happy week to all of you!! :)
